Ceriated Tungsten Electrodes are used to emit the welding arc in both AC and DC (negative) TIG welding and as such can be used to weld all conductive metals. Not as good as 2% Thoriated electrodes for arc strike-up and stability but doesn’t contain Thoria which is mildly radioactive
